Chapter 1: Marriage, 1998

Wikipedia says that at 18 she married the singer Promit Sen, in 1998, and that the marriage was unhappy and lasted about two years. It cites a Savvy interview of 26 November 2009 and a Calcutta Telegraph report. She has a daughter, born in 2000. We leave out the legal disputes that followed, which are a matter of court record about private parties. Status: public record.

Chapter 2: Jeet (জিৎ), from 2004

She began dating her co-star Jeet during the making of Mastan (2004), according to Wikipedia citing the Savvy interview. They worked together in several films after that. Reported by DNA India on 27 March 2025, she told In the Ring with Filmfare Bangla the relationship lasted about six years, that her daughter still says she was at fault, and that her mother and sister attended Jeet’s wedding. Jeet married Mohna Ratlani on 24 February 2011. Status: confirmed by her.

Chapter 3: Parambrata Chatterjee (পরমব্রত চট্টোপাধ্যায়), 2009 to 2010

Wikipedia says the relationship began on the set of Brake Fail, citing a Times of India interview of 5 July 2009. It ended in 2010 when he moved to Bristol, per the Times of India (5 September 2010). Parambrata married Piya Chakraborty on 27 November 2023. Status: reported at the time.

Chapter 4: Srijit Mukherji (শ্রীজিৎ মুখোপাধ্যায়), until 2014

Srijit Mukherji’s Wikipedia page says the two were in a relationship that ended after Jaatishwar (2014), citing a Times of India photo story of 13 December 2018. Her own page does not mention him and we found no statement from either. Srijit married Mithila on 6 December 2019. Status: reported, not confirmed by her or him.

What she has said about it

In the March 2025 interview she said the media often reports on anyone she has had coffee with, so the list looks far longer than it is, and that she has had six serious relationships. She did not name all six, and we do not guess.
