Last updated: 17 October 2026. These terms apply to everyone who uses bengalimoviereviews.com (“BMR”, “we”). By using the site you agree to them.
1. What the site offers
BMR publishes Bengali film reviews collected from critics and summarised in our own words, BMR rating estimates, box office reports, articles, and tools such as watchlists, ratings and profiles. Our editorial approach and legal basis are set out in the Disclaimer and editorial policy, which forms part of these terms.
2. Opinions and accuracy
Reviews, scores, verdicts and “BMR’s take” sections are opinions about films. Box office figures come from public trade sources and may change. We work to be accurate, but the site is provided “as is” without any guarantee, and you should not rely on it for financial or business decisions.
3. Your account and what you post
- You are responsible for your account and for everything you post: ratings, reviews, comments and profile details.
- Do not post anything unlawful, defamatory, abusive, hateful, obscene, misleading, spam, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights. Do not post personal information about others.
- Criticise films freely and honestly, but criticise the work, not people’s private lives.
- You keep ownership of what you post, and give BMR permission to show it on the site and in shared images of the site.
- We may moderate, edit for length or remove posts, and suspend accounts that break these terms.
4. Copyright and use of our content
BMR’s own text, scores, design and images are ours. You may link to any page and share our share cards. Do not copy large parts of the site, scrape it automatically, or republish our summaries as your own. Film posters and stills belong to their owners and are used only to identify the films we discuss. Linked reviews belong to their authors and publications.
5. Links to other sites
We link to the original reviews, trailers and other sites. We are not responsible for their content or availability.
6. Advertising and sponsors
Ads and sponsored items are labelled. Sponsors and advertisers have no influence on ratings or reviews.
7. Complaints and takedown requests
If you believe something on BMR is wrong or unlawful, use the grievance process in the Disclaimer and editorial policy. We decide every grievance within 15 days.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, BMR is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on its content.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
10. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, have jurisdiction over any dispute.
