Wikipedia says Swastika began a relationship with Parambrata on the set of Brake Fail, citing a Times of India interview of 5 July 2009. Swastika was then still legally married, and her husband filed a complaint against Parambrata, which the Times of India covered on 18 September 2009 under the headline “Arrest warrant against Param”. The relationship ended in 2010, when he moved to Bristol, according to a Times of India piece of 5 September 2010. Status: reported by the press of the time; we found no later statement from him.

Chapter 2: Ike Schouten, a long relationship

Wikipedia, citing a Filmfare feature, says he was in a relationship with Ike Schouten, a doctor from the Netherlands, for nearly a decade, and does not date it. In a Bollywood Hungama interview of 10 July 2020 he described his Dutch girlfriend, said she moved to Kolkata in 2017 to be with him, and said she travels back and forth. Note that the nine year figure in that piece comes from the interviewer’s question, not from him. At that point she was in the Netherlands on a work stint and could not return because of the lockdown. Status: confirmed by him; no end date is given in what we read, and we do not guess one.

Chapter 3: Piya Chakraborty (পিয়া চক্রবর্তী), 2023 to now

He married Piya Chakraborty on 27 November 2023 in a private ceremony. Zee 24 Ghanta reported his comments after the registration. Wikipedia says the couple had a baby boy on 1 June 2025, citing the same outlet; we found no second source, so treat the birth date as single-sourced. Status: confirmed.
