Who is the best Bengali screenplay writer of all time?

Which Bengali screenplay writer has the biggest box office?
Nandita Roy leads with ₹14.16 Cr combined India net across 4 films, ahead of Shiboprosad Mukherjee (₹14.16 Cr). Figures are Sacnilk India net and only cover films with a published daily record.
How is this list made?
Names come from the cast and crew of each film page, scores from the critic reviews published on Bengali Movie Reviews, and money from Sacnilk India net. Films without critic scores or box office figures count only where the data exists. It is a record of what we can source, not an audited ranking.
Studio, screenplay and cast details are still being collected (542 of 624 films), so this list is growing.
